Ignacio Lacosta
CTO of TheMo and Manager of Extended Reality Lab.He has developed a relevant professional curriculum in technical direction and supervision of visual effects filming, being a senior VFX Supervisor and Senior CGI artist. Thanks to his experience with over a thousand filming carried out along with his formal education, he has become a high demanded specialist in the sector, with highly professional and artistic rigor, which has allowed him to successfully develop its international projection. Ignacio has been the founder and CEO of Entropy Studio, until 2019. During this time, his work has been awarded on several occasions and in different international festivals. He had part of the team who received the Goya Award for Best Visual Effects for EVA and the Special Mention at the Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Film di Venezia, apart from several Gaudi and Goya Awards in previous years for Viaje Mágico a África, The Frost, Blackthorn, etc. During 2016 he has supervised the VFX of the Spanish films El Bar (Alex de la Iglesia), Que Dios Nos Perdone, Los últimos de Filipinas, El Jugador de Ajedrez or En Zona Hostil, among others. Also, the successful TV series Velvet or La Sonata del Silencio. He has also been producer and VFX Supervisor of Zero, a mini-series for YouTube produced by Scott Free. Zero accumulates more than 75 international awards, including its premiere in the International Film Festival of Venice. Ignacio has also participated in Quantum Break (Microsoft) and in the American film Gnaw. Among other works, he has worked for multiple companies, such as Netflix, Amazon, Movistar+, etc.
