Anargyros Chatzitofis

Mr. Anargyros Chatzitofis completed his studies at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 2008, he co-founded a video game development company, SDS Game Studios (SDS), where he worked for 4 years as a senior game developer. During his studies, SDS published the first Greek turn-based, strategy video game in Greece and Cyprus that was best-seller for several months in the Greek and Cypriot markets. In 2012, he joined Information Technologies Institute of Centre for Research and Technology Hellas where he works as a Computer Vision R&D engineer. His expertise lies on real-time human 3D reconstruction and motion capture from multiple RGB-D sensors as well as the development of immersive Virtual Reality social interaction experiences (virtual user 3D representation and self-representation). He has authored/co-authored 18 scientific publications and regularly serves as reviewer for IEEE and MDPI journals. At the same time, he is studying remotely for his CS PhD at Electrical and Computer Engineering School of National Technical University of Athens on low-cost 3D Optical Motion Capture methods using 3D vision techniques and Deep Learning.
