Join the VRTogether team in Amsterdam for the IBC Show
· Visitors will be able to try out our latest social Virtual Reality experience at the show’s Future Zone.
· The event will showcase some of the world’s latest innovations in media technology from 13 – 17 September 2019.
The 2019 edition of IBC –the world’s most influential media, entertainment and technology show– is returning to Amsterdam on 13 – 17 September. This year, the VRTogether will be featured at the Future Zone, a specially curated area bringing together the very latest ideas, innovations and concept technologies from international industry and academia.
You will be welcome to meet us at stand 8.F10 to see first-hand VRTogether’s cutting-edge developments. We will be presenting our groundbreaking cost-effective social Virtual Reality (VR) experiences for users in remote domestic scenarios, based on photo-realistic immersive content. Visitors wearing VR headsets will be body-captured, inserted and immersed together in a virtual environment, where they can interact with each other in real time.
At IABM Future Trends, Sergi Fernández, Project Coordinator, i2CAT, and Dr.Pablo Cesar, CWI, will present VRTogether’s efforts for bringing social VR to the homes in a talk entitled ‘Social VR: a New Communication Medium for the Home’ (14 Sep 2019, 09:45, IABM Future Trends Theatre).
